Fiddler’s Ridge Nights Lullaby 1*M

Sire: Jacobs Pride Kitt Knight Rider

Sires sire:  Jacobs Pride Tri the Candywood

Sires dam:  Jacobs Pride Ebony Star

Dam:  Six M Glaxy Ivy League

Dams sire:  SG Six M Galaxy Onyx Obe

Dams dam: Six M Galaxy Topaz’s Minuet

Lulu was a late bloomer, milking lightly as a first freshener. Freshening as a 2 yr. old she did a very good job on the milk stand and earned her Milk *. She had a strong will to please and milk, showing a lot of dairy character. Her daughter, Ronco Farm Moonlight Sonata, as well of Ronco Farm Sweet Minuet and Ronco Farm Sweet Melody (out of Sonata and Hansen Haven Hot Sugar Daddy) milked very well for me. This picture doesn’t show off her udder very well. Sonata’s udder is larger than her dam’s and she has exceeded her in milk production as well. Sonata’s twin daughters Minuet and Melody were lovely milkers, but I had to sell them before we made our move to New Mexico. I have another lovely daughter out of Sonata and Nubilop Acres Dr Ozias, Ronco Farm Ivy Leah, who is milking in her first lactation.

I talked to Lulu’s new owners last year and found out that she had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She was a wonderful and sweet Nubian. I was sorry to hear about her passing.

Ronco Farm Moonlight Sonata 2*M

Sonata finished her first lactation and earned her milk star as a yearling! Her udder has very nice texture and milks out completely. I would like to improve the teat size and extend her foreudder. She has a wonderful personality and I’m excited to see what she will do as a second freshener. She presented me with twin doelings in 2012 and they will be freshening this spring. I will retain one doeling, but any other kids will be for sale. Her first lactation was :  1yr 286d 1710m 4.7% 81f 3.8% 85p, 2yr. 194d 1551m 4.7% 73f 3.7%p 57p (This record was shorter as we had to dry her off early due to our impending move to New Mexico.) During her 3rd lactation she was sold to M&D Nillson’s and is continuing to milk strongly for them. She is still on DHIR testing and I love to hear about her progress from Michiah Nillson.

Ronco Farm Regal Latte 2*M

Latte was out of Ronco Farm Merry Tinkerbelle 1*M and Magic Dreams Regal Heritage. She was a lovely, strong black doe. She had a nice uptight udder with small well placed teats. Her udder milked out soft and flat. She matured into a beautiful doe. She was a grand daughter of my original do, Bloom-n-Nubians Magic T Tinker. She surprised me by earning her milk star as a yearling. I kept her 2013 twin doelings out of Sugar Daddy and brought them to New Mexico with us. They were both beautiful milkers with lovely soft, silky udders. Latte and her daughter Lady were sold to a family near Amarillo, Texas.

Jowanda’s Tender Lovin

Marilyn Stertz and Nubilop Acres for allowed me to add this lovely doe to my herd. Lovey finished up her lactation as a yearling, but was not on official test at Nubilop. She came to me bred to Kastdmur’s Santa Ana Breeze. On March 25, 2013 she gave me triplets, 2 doelings and a buckling. I retained the doelings and they freshened milking as yearlings. Ronco Farm TL Breezy Anna freshened in February with a single doeling and Ronco Farm TL Windy Breeze freshened in late May with twin bucklings. They both have nice soft udders that milk out clean. Tender Lovin freshened with a bad case of mastitis on her right side and damaged the udder. Lovey and Lulu were sold to a wonderful family in Nebraska and are enjoying being pets for a family of little boys and one little girl. I also learned that Lovey had crossed the Rainbow Bridge as well. Their new family were devastated by their loss. I have 2 of her granddaughters bred to freshen as yearlings in March 2016. Jade is out of Anna and Ebony is out of Windy.  They are beautiful black does with tan and white markings. They are both sired by Linn Farm’s Beau.

Sonata and Latte 1

These two does were sold in 2014 but they continue to provide an influence in our herd through their offspring. Ronco Farm Moonlight Sonata 2*M N1579999 has also gone to a new home in Texas where she continues to milk well and has left a lovely daughter here for us as well. Sonata is the doe in the foreground. She is sired by Magic Dreams Regal Heritage N1445420 and out of Fiddler’s Ridge Nights Lullaby N1440802. Sonata earned her milk* as a yearling milker. Because of her larger teats she is an easy hand milker. In 2014 she peaked at 15.5 lbs of milk per day. She was on DHIR test her entire productive life. Her production is:

1 yr. 286d 1710m 4.7% 81f 3.8%p 65p

2yr 194d 1551m 4.7% 73f 3.7%p 57p (She was dried off early because we were preparing to make a move to New Mexico.)

3yr record was completed for her new owner in Texas.

Today I have 6 does in my herd. They are Ronco Farms Sweet Lacey 3*M, Ronco Farms Ivy Leah,  Ronco Farm Windy Ebony, and Elk Run Creek Elvira back from my friend Patty Heald in Nebraska. Then I also added a beautiful doeling Nubilop Acres Rio Reyna  thanks to my friend, Marilyn Stertz from Nebraska. In December 2016 we brought Simple-Truth Celerity from Daniel and Michaiah Nilsson of Texas.
